Jorge Banda
Jorge Banda is a Senior and is a first year student in the Honors Work-Based Learning Program. Jorge has completed the Sports Medicine Career Pathway and has a career interest in Athletic Training/Physical Therapy. He currently interns at Atlanta Rehabilitation & Performance Center where he is learning hands-on skills, observing Physical Therapist in action and assisting patients with warm-up exercises. Jorge’s mentor states, “ Jorge is a polite and respectful young man who takes initiative to do whatever is needed in the clinic. Excellent job so far!” Jorge is also a soccer athlete and has contributed his passion for sports to his career choice. He looks forward to continuing his education after high school by pursuing an athletic training/physical therapy degree in college.
