LCHS WBL making it work

Long County High School Work-Based Learning Program is excited to share two virtual learners from local businesses. Holli Gorsuch from Hinesville H & R Block and Dylan Mulligan from Law Office of Hugh McCullough in Glennville, Ga. Mrs. Gorsuch provided our students with three different tax forms and explained the role of each form.  Students were allowed to ask questions pertaining to tax forms and work-based positions in reference to tax preparation. Our second speaker was Attorney Dylan Mulligan Attorney at Law. The students gained an insight as to the process it takes to become a lawyer and the duties that Mr. Mulligan is tasked with on a daily basis. The students asked several questions pertaining to the field of law. Both speakers emphasized the importance of the skills from the Business Pathway and how early employment developed stronger employability skills.
